Out for a Walk

This morning we got to Flower Mound at 9:00 a.m. for a morning walk with Julie and Jesse and the dogs. We walked the whole length of the trail in one direction. The round trip was abut 4 miles. Afterwards we went to Costco. Or maybe I should say "Costly"! As usual, we stocked up on plenty of staples. Our big find this trip was a queen comforter set by Tommy Bahama. It's just the right color--finally! We've been looking for a long time to find something that will work with our colors and fit in the smaller space of an RV bedroom--and be comfortable to sleep under and washable. This set met all the criteria.

Grandpa Ken got some pics today of Cate riding her bike without training wheels. This is a real milestone. She needs a larger bike, and her parents suggested that it wouldn't make sense to put training wheels on a new bike for her birthday. That was motivation enough!

One of the highlights of our visits here is the chance to play games. Cate is a big game player. Tonight she chose Ingenious. I think it's mainly for the chance to proclaim "Ingenious!" when she gets a color marker to the 18th hole.

Ed had recorded the RV 2012 show from HGTV. That's the one that New Horizons expected to be featured on. We did see one fleeting shot of the front of a Majestic near the beginning of the show. Peterson Industries had a short segment showing off an Excel and commenting on its quality features. Most of the show just focused on the glitz and amenities as four families looked for the RV of their dreams and signed on the dotted line!
