Back to Dancing

A cold front came in last night, so we turned on the furnace this morning. We walked around the RV park rather than biking because the wind was quite chilly.

This afternoon we went to Jerry Story's C-1 dance, which had four squares. To start, Kristy danced with G.W. because his partner wasn't there. Kristy is very sweet, and Jerry helps her out, but it must be stressful to dance a level you've never taken lessons in.

This evening we danced to Joe Saltel at Tropic Star, where we had five squares. We're hoping that more dancers will be showing up in the Valley soon.


We talked with some folks who were just arriving. Their plans were delayed by the winter storms playing havoc with travel in the north. When we see the reports of ice and snow and blizzards and tornadoes, we count our blessings. Even on a chilly day like today, we had sunshine and temps got to the 60s.
