Another Quiet Day

On our walk this morning, we visited Retama Village and walked around, checking out the new construction in progress now and the homes added since we left in the spring. It's pretty clear that sales at Retama have begun to recover.

Then we walked through Tanglewood, the family residential neighborhood to the north. We saw materials laid out to begin construction on a new home and a couple of spec homes available, but otherwise not much going on there. The homes are mainly quite large--the type we refer to as McMansions. Some are even three stories high.

A few mosquitoes found us as we walked, but there weren't many, fortunately. We'll definitely be glad when their numbers decrease (soon, we hope).

When we returned from our walk we emptied the holding tanks. Then we spent the rest of the day indoors, reading, working on finances, listening to the Saturday shows on NPR, and watching a recording of Kramer vs. Kramer.
