When we started our walk this morning, the sky was pretty
much covered with light, fluffy white clouds. By the time we finished, the sun
had burned most of the cloud cover off, and we had taken our jackets off.
We danced twice today. This afternoon we danced to Jerry
Story. We had eight squares on the floor and lots of fun dancing, but we missed
our friends. Steve and Jan had medical appointments. Tonight they picked us up
for Joe’s dance, where we again had eight squares (but only after Mike Hall
came to be the 32nd dancer). Steve was really tired, but he toughed
it out until the end of the dance.
In between the two dances we went to the Verizon store,
where we took the plunge. We signed up for a new two-year contract and got new
phones. I got an iPhone 5s, and Ken got a Galaxy S4. We’ll be spending some
time learning how to use them.
