Balmy Day

We had a perfectly lovely balmy day today, the kind of summer day that we really enjoy. Only it's not summer, and Mother Nature is planning to rudely remind us of that fact. On Friday the high in Mission is forecast to be 49º--brrrrr!!! I know, I know, all you northerners are right now snidely saying "wimps!" But we Winter Texans can't help it. We're spoiled.

We did some more summer travel planning today, trying to block in time slots for our stays in some places where we anticipate needing reservations. We hate to be pinned down, but some of the places we'd like to stay are very popular during the summer, so we are trying to plan ahead.
