Today was another moving day--from Tyler to Lake Lewisville. It was an easy drive, only 120 miles and all state highway and freeways. Still, it was nearly 2:00 p.m. when we finally sat down to eat lunch. We had a reservation for site 6, which is on a lawn overlooking the lake, with expansive views of grass, trees, and the lake.
We decided to stay home tonight and get some needed rest before starting our visit with Ed and Julie and the kids tomorrow.
The weather is turning colder. When we pulled in to the campground today, a sign announced a freeze warning and said to shut off the water (presumably at night). Brrrr.
