Blue Skies

We had another lovely day today--blue skies, a bit of a breeze, and warming from the 60s this morning to the 80s this afternoon. We got our tax return signed and in its envelope, ready to mail tomorrow, so now all we have to do is wait for our refund. Not much else doing. We called around to see about changing our address on our driver licenses and vehicle registrations. We'll tackle those jobs tomorrow.

We picked up some fresh onions today--literally. In this agricultural area, some crops are available for gleaning after harvest. Right now, it's onions, and one of our fellow RVers has picked up loads which he is giving away.

We had an interesting experience today. A motorhome pulled out, towing its toad. So far, nothing unusual. Then its horn started playing an extended version of "On the Road Again." Wow! We play the song every time we leave a site--but we play an mp3 on our sound system, much less dramatic and public!

Last night we watched the first episode of Season Two of Call the Midwife, which we love. Then we watched the first hour of Mr. Selfridge, the new Masterpiece series. Harry Selfridge is quite a character.
