Another Quiet Day

Today was much like most days recently. It was overcast this morning, but the sun soon burned off the clouds, and it was sunny and very warm most of the day. We showered and sat in the hot tub and chatted with folks for a while. We walked as usual. We spent some time picking burrs out of our shoes and feet--ouch!

We made reservations at Lake Sidney Lanier for our visit with Ed and family and Terri in Georgia. We got the last available campsite, and now we're wondering if we'll really be able to get into it. The map seems to show a rather tight turnaround, and we are long and have three axles and don't turn around very tightly. It wasn't the best plan to wait until now to try to make reservations near Atlanta for the fourth of July weekend, but we hadn't noticed that our planned time period might include the holiday weekend.

Closer to now, we also looked at what Ken might want to eat while I'm gone to Portland this Thursday through the following Tuesday. Tomorrow I'll go shopping and pick up some ingredients to leave him with frozen meals.
