Outlets

We decided to go to the Rio Grande Valley Outlets in Mercedes today. We walked through lots of stores and checked things out, but in the end, the only thing we bought was a sling bag from Eddie Bauer for Ken. We were disappointed to find almost entirely clothing and shoe stores. I had hoped for kitchen and home and sporting goods stores. There was one kitchen store and one home store we had never heard of (Kirkland).

At Lowe's, we found some zip ties and some Terro Liquid Ant Bait. We're going to get those little suckers!

The clubhouse is being decorated for the Trailer Trash Dance this Friday. Now we know what the two toilets by our neighbor's site were really for. You can't read the titles of the paperbacks in the photo, but rest assured, they're definitely trashy novels!

We stopped at an HEB store on the way home. It's a smaller one and out in the country. It had no organic produce at all. The produce manager said they used to carry some, but there wasn't much demand.

We watched more of Little Dorrit tonight. There are some subplots that are definitely unclear to us now, including one revolving around a shadowy French murderer. Presumably they will become clearer as the story progresses.
