Well, the world woke up to spring--only in the Rio Grande Valley, it's apparently moved right on to summer. Today we had a cloudless blue sky and a high in the upper 80s. That's just the kind of weather that goes with soaking in the hot tub and lazing in the sunshine by the pool.
We got an update on progress on our Majestic today: "Now with the walls, roof and slides all in, it is really taking shape. The kitchen island is in place as are all the frameworks for the various cabinets. Tile in the bathroom is done. Refrigerator is in the kitchen ready for placement." It is now 26 days and counting until we arrive in Junction City to finally see our new home.
We did our laundry today, so all our stuff is clean for another week. We got an e-mail with tracking for the tonneau cover we ordered for our new truck. It's being delivered to New Horizons in Junction City, so Ken called to give them a heads up that it's due to be delivered tomorrow. He also called our new contact person at the Ford dealership. At this point it's rather unclear who will be responsible for working with us on delivery of the truck.
