Fish Fry

When we got up this morning, a north wind was blowing and the air was chilly, but as the day went on, it warmed up. That worked out well for the annual fish fry that Steve and Jan put on for a bunch of friends. There were eleven of us: in addition to Jan and Steve, we had Hardy and Judy, John and Sandy, Bob and Pat, Jean, and of course us. Jean returned just today from a ski trip to Aspen. She brought the last four bottles of John Wayne Pudding with her.

The party was at Hardy and Judy's house, because the Spauldings' Texas room is torn apart for remodeling. It was very pleasant sitting and eating in Pottingers' screened in porch. Their house makes a great place for a party.

After dinner, several of us went for a walk around Green Gate Grove. Then back to the house for more time with friends and lots of laughs.

We worked again on our black water valve, but didn't make any discernible progress. We also spent some time trip planning, but there's lots more yet to do.
