Bike Repair

We finally coordinated with Jerry at El Valle del Sol, who has a card posted on the bulletin board where we dance there offering bike repair services. We dropped my bike off before the dance this afternoon and went to Jerry Story's dance. After the dance, we went back to check on the bike. Jerry apologized that he wasn't able to fix it. He said that he does fine working on the older bikes that residents of the park bring to him, but that my bike was newer. He took the front shift apart, but wasn't able to fix it.

He suggested that we take it to Bike Masters, which is nearby, so that's what we did. We're supposed to pick it up tomorrow, before they close at 6:30 p.m. We'll be on our way to Darryl's dance at 7:00 p.m. around the corner. Here's hoping this works out okay.

We danced to Joe Saltel tonight. As usual we had plenty of challenges and lots of fun.  Marion and Velma were there--they are leaving the Valley in a couple of days. Judy and Jean and Sandy and I were talking about our plans for a German dinner. We've tentatively set March 24 as the date.


We danced with Jan and Steve this afternoon, but Jan decided she needed to rest, so they didn't come tonight. We're sure hoping that she gets back her old energy soon.
