Progress

First thing this morning I dropped Ken off at the lot and headed to my doctor's appointment. Ken was meeting Steve and the contractor, Gabriel, to determine the best way to deal with the problem that our canopy is not high enough to clear the side of the Majestic. We were thinking of raising the canopy, but Gabriel explained that would be a time consuming and expensive process. He suggested cutting the edge of the canopy back by 27", which should leave plenty of clearance for us to get the Majestic backed in properly.

He'll be doing the work Wednesday morning, and we agreed to meet him there and have the rig parked across the street. Once the canopy is cut back, we will still need to have the center post moved, which Gabriel will do once the rig is in position so he can see exactly where it should go.

Meanwhile I was at the doctor's office, waiting. And waiting, and waiting. Dr. George had some sick people this morning and had to admit two to the hospital, pushing my 8:30 a.m. appointment back a couple of hours.

The rest of the day was calmer. It was sunny and warm, so we enjoyed some time in the hot tub and reading by the pool.
