Exploring Cherry Hill and Visiting Terri and Molly

Our morning walk was along the hiking trail that circles the RV park. It is surprisingly rustic for an urban park within a stone's throw of two freeways. Along the way we saw a couple of deer and lots of birds and wildflowers and campers.

On the way over to Terri's we stopped at Snider's Super Foods. It was on our way and got good reviews, but we weren't very impressed. However, we did get some nice organic raspberries and strawberries.

By the time we left Snider's, the Beltway was getting congested. Fortunately the westbound traffic was moving, albeit slowly.

We had a great visit with Terri and Molly. We talked about the problems of the world, ate some great lasagna and green beans and salad, and had some special cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes, a shop featured in its own reality TV show (who would have thought???). Later we walked around the neighborhood, but it was getting too dark to see much.

Blake was at a work reception, so we didn't get a chance to see him. Tomorrow we'll all meet down at the DC Botanical Garden and see some of the sights near the Mall.
