What an image to start the New Year with--Dee Dee Dougherty-Lottie as the Old Year 2010 on its way out, Randy Dougherty as the bouncing baby 2011, and Darlene (the only sane one???).
We had a great time at the New Year's Eve A-2 dance called by Randy and his sister, Dee Dee. We were especially happy to share the time with friends. Steve and Jan Spaulding are finally back in the sunny south after spending Christmas in Wisconsin (yes, he had to use a hair dryer to melt the ice so he could pull in the slides on his RV!). John and Sandy Walenter have returned too. Bob and Pat Boyink were there. Pat's doctor kindly rescheduled her chemo from this week to next so she'd feel up to it. The dancing was even more challenging than usual after the libations had been flowing for a bit, but we all had fun.
We spent some time again today researching eBook readers. The newer Kindle 3 WiFi at $139 seems like a possibility. We may actually buy an eBook reader in 2011....
