Christmas Eve: Happy Birthday, Chris!

It was Christmas Eve 45 years ago when Chris was born--the best Christmas present I've ever received. Happy birthday, Son--and many wonderful years to come. Chris and Annie are visiting in Longview, and Ed and family are there for Christmas too. Chris posted a very cute YouTube video of Sam and Jesse (mostly Jesse) (he's learned how to post videos directly from his iPhone to YouTube, so I subscribed to his YouTube channel). Jesse has really taken a liking to Chris, and from the video we can tell that he's going to grow up to be a game player like his uncle.

Our park is definitely in the Christmas mood. Some folks decided to put out luminarias to entice the Christmas carolers coming around tonight. Our neighbor Sharon bought bags and sand and candles for our 500 circle. They added a warm glow

Thanks for the Turtle Coffee, T!

I tried to get more photos of the carolers, but they all came out blurry.

Geraldine (Ken's stepmother) called tonight to wish us a merry Christmas and thank us for the large print Readers Digest subscription. Ken said she sounded good.

We actually finished budget planning for 2011 before January 1--good for us 8-)
