Dancing and Cocooning

This morning we went to Darryl's A-2 dance at Redeemer Lutheran. It's the last Friday dance until the new year, since Darryl will be leaving town for the holiday. Decca says it will be a working trip. We danced the last tip with Dick and Mary Ann, Hardy and Judy, and Jean and G.W.

It was good to see Hugh and G.W. and David at the dance, but sad to think about their loss. Hugh's wife, G.W.'s mom, Juanita died last Friday night. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated and there was no service.

Today would have been my brother Joe's 63rd birthday. Instead it is nearly five years since he died, shortly after his 58th birthday. I miss him a lot.

Ken has not been feeling very well. He has had a sore throat, which may be from his acid reflux. Another possibility is that he has a sinus infection or some such. He slept most of the afternoon today and says he's feeling somewhat better now.
