Kelley had the first part of her teacher certification test this morning, and she didn't have to go to school for student teaching afterward. That gave us a chance to take her out to lunch at the Ghengis Grill in Frisco. It was her first visit to a Ghengis Grill (we had been to one in Tyler with Dick and Carol). We all enjoyed our meals and the chance to chat.
Here's a shot of the colorful apartment Kelley shares with two friends. The location is really good for them, because they can easily access both I-35 and SH 121. That will come in handy if Kelley gets a substitute teaching slot in one of the area school districts.
After lunch with Kelley and a visit to her apartment, we headed to the big CCA Resale Shop. We didn't have much luck there. We went to Ed and Julie's, where I fixed butternut squash soup for dinner and played on the Wii with the kids.
