This morning Nestor came by with his brother to work on the
toilet in the Texas
room. When they finally got it back together, it turned out that we actually
needed more parts. We looked up a diagram of toilet insides and found out that
we needed a flush valve with overflow tube. So we took the old one to Home
Depot after the Jerry Story dance and found a replacement.
Jerry Story has arrived in the RGV. This afternoon we
attended his first Wednesday afternoon C-1 dance of the season. We had four
squares and lots of fun. Christy was not at the door. It turned out that she
has stayed home to care for both of their moms who are living with them.
This evening we went to Joe Saltel’s C-1 dance, where we had
four squares again. Joe definitely challenged us. One sequence he called was
especially difficult for our square. From parallel ocean waves, he had the boys
do their part of an O circulate while the girls did their part of a butterfly
circulate. The result is supposed to be blocks, but we just couldn’t seem to
see it. Maybe another time.
