Busy Day

We worked most of the day on getting the Texas room ready for guests. We gathered all the things that needed to be hung on the walls, and we gathered our tools and picture hanging hardware and set to work. We made progress, but we needed more stuff, so we went shopping.

Shopping can sometimes be fun, but it can also be frustrating and tiring. We went to Kohl's and Dollar Tree and Walmart and Murphy Oil, and we brought back lots of stuff. By the time we got home, we were tired and hungry. It was nearly 7:00 p.m. Fortunately, I had baked a lentil loaf and some sweet potatoes the day before, so we had dinner on the table quickly Unfortunately, it was too late to go to Darryl's dance. Besides, we still had lots to do.
