We started out this morning by fasting (no coffee!!) preparatory to going to our doctor's office to have our blood drawn. Lab work this week will be followed by doctor's appointments next week. We were surprised to find that the facilities have expanded and that VIMA (Valley Internal Medicine Associates) will be doing much of the lab work in house. As usual, I took a thermos of coffee along and this time we also had some great tangelos too.
We went to Lowe's today to check out the paint. We had a particular kind of Olympic paint to check out that Good Housekeeping had recommended, and we also wanted to look at the Valspar. We spent some time perusing the paint chips and picking out colors. We didn't find the specific Olympic paint we were looking for, and we couldn't find Valspar in satin finish except in paint and primer combinations. We ended up deciding to wait until we talked with a painter before buying any paint. We did pick up some spackling and stuff to repair the nail holes and other problems with the wall finish.
