Laundry and Wildlife Watching

We did our laundry this morning at the park laundry room. They have eight washers and eight dryers. Four of the washers are high efficiency front loaders. We used three of those. While the washers were running, we walked around the park.

We picked up our mail at General Delivery yesterday morning. One of the envelopes contained our "Welcome Aboard" packet from Norwegian Cruise Lines. Today Ken completed our online check-in for the cruise. We first talked about the possibility of going on this cruise over a year ago, and now it's getting close enough to feel real.

Both of us took short naps today. We’re still not feeling completely well, but we’re not obviously sick either.

On our walk tonight we finally spotted a wild turkey in the park. Someone told us that the turkey population had gotten so large that the park had called in the state game department. Forty turkeys were trapped and relocated, but there are still plenty here. There are plenty of deer too. We spotted one inside a fenced area. Folks standing there said that the owner had planted apple trees to feed the deer  They evidently pay little attention to fences.

It’s been frustrating to have an unreliable internet connection. Sometimes everything is fine, but then the connection will drop, or the speed will slow to a crawl. The park has WIFI, but only in the Clubhouse.
