Sad Kindle

Well, tonight Ken's Kindle decided to darken the top half of the screen. Amazon has promised to ship a new one to arrive Thursday, but it's still sad...

Mark came over this morning to do more of our repairs. He rehung and straightened our cabinet doors and pulled a broken switch from our door assist light. He's hoping for warmer weather to do some of the outdoor repairs.

I had fun dancing with Jean at Joe Saltel's again this morning while Ken computed at Pharr Library. He says it's a very nice place. Then we ate our lunch at Jean's--a restful break--before dancing to Randy this afternoon.

On the way home we stopped at HEB and then went to Thompson's Electric to see if they had a replacement switch for our door light. They came up with something that might work. Mark will have to take a look at it.

We watched the State of the Union address tonight and were a bit heartened by the less rancorous atmosphere. The country is facing some tough choices.
