Dancing Tonight

We had a quiet day today, starting with a walk on our usual loop along the levee to NABA and back along the Old Military Highway. That makes two miles of peaceful scenery.

We filled out our applications to renew our passports. They expire next month, which means it's been ten years since our trip to Germany and France. That's really hard to believe and must mean it's time to plan another trip! At this point our international travel plans are limited to going to Mexico for lunch.

On our walk tonight we got a really good view of the oriole on the coral bean tree. It really seems to love those red flowers. We watched it for a few minutes before it flew away.

Tonight Hardy and Judy picked me up and we went to Tropic Valley for Darryl's C-1 workshop. Marion and Velma came--they arrived in the Valley yesterday. We're seeing lots of new faces since the new year started.

We had a bit of a problem with our water today. Actually, we suddenly didn't have any water pressure. We thought the new filter might be clogged, so we took it out, but that wasn't the problem. Just as suddenly, the water pressure came back. We think there must have been a kink in the line and our fiddling around fixed it.
