Fourteen for Breakfast

The Sunday morning breakfast at Angel's Restaurant group is growing. Today we had fourteen, including four CARE volunteer couples besides us, plus of course Hardy and Judy and Steve and Jan. Vern and Mary Miller and Bob and Sharon Vogler attended for the first time. Ken forgot the camera, so we didn't memorialize the event. We were at a long table in the back room, so our chatter didn't disturb the other patrons too much. The restaurant was very busy this morning, so the wait staff were really running, but as usual they provided good service and tasty food.

After breakfast we went over to Brad and Jacolyn's place at Circle T to see their new dog, Ian, who is a real cutie. He got a clean bill of health from the vet and has settled right in to his new home. Of course the fact that he has a doting mom helps!

The rest of the day we did the usual--went to the store, took a couple of walks, made some phone calls, played Rummikub, took care of some paperwork... Our neighbor, Ann, came over to ask our opinion about eBook readers. She is getting ready to order a Kindle. Ken's should arrive any time now.
