Jesse is five today. I tried to FaceTime with him this morning, but the connection was poor. They could see me, but I couldn't see them, darn it! His cousin Jolynn shares his birthday and spent the night. She is turning sweet sixteen. They had a joint birthday party at Nana and Papa John's house.

We mostly had a quiet day today. We did get out on the bikes for an hour, and we watched Downton Abbey (what else???).
