We're Back at Sandy Riverfront

We moved on to the Portland area today. It was a reasonably easy drive, except that as we approached the city in mid-afternoon, we found ourselves in traffic jams and slowdowns on I-5 and I-205. We're not used to big city congestion any more and weren't expecting traffic problems before 3:00 p.m. (Hey, this isn't LA). Chris pointed out that it's a Friday and everyone in Portland is heading out to enjoy the beautiful summer weather by getting out of town.

We're on a pull-through site, #151. The area is beautiful, and the site is fine except for being a bit narrow. We've been spoiled by not being in commercial RV parks in cities for a while.

Chris and Anara were attending a wedding this evening right around the corner, at Edgefield. When they were ready to leave, we picked them up and drove them home. It was our first visit to their new place. It's the ground floor of a duplex in a neighborhood they really like. We also got to meet Pepper and Cammy (Chamomile), Anara's rats. We'll go back over tomorrow.
