Today is the one week mark in the construction of our new Majestic. Of course we're excited and wish we could see the progress, but we'll have to wait until April. Meanwhile today we stopped at Tuesday Morning and found a rug for the entry. The floor will be Permastone, and the makers warn that rubber or latex backing on rugs can discolor the floor. It's not that easy to find small rugs that don't have the latex backing.
We biked again today to avoid stressing Ken's foot. It's getting better, but hurts if he walks too much.
We've had lots of birds around, mainly red-winged blackbirds and more recently broad-tailed grackles. Today Ken spotted this interesting bird posing in the bushes next to our patio.
We watched another episode of Downton Abbey tonight. This one was two hours. The final episode airs this Sunday. It's definitely melodramatic.
