One More Step

After breakfast, we heard a knock at the door. It was a couple inquiring about the table we had for sale. They decided to buy it. We've really enjoyed the Miller's Amazing Magic Table since we bought it a couple of years ago from a friend. We're hoping the new owners will enjoy it as much. Selling the table feels like one more step towards moving to our new home.

Ken wasn't feeling well when we got up this morning, and the weather wasn't very inviting, so we didn't get much exercise today. We did go out shopping, including a stop at Burlington Coat Factory, where Ken found a nice jacket and a pair of gloves that will keep his hands warm when we visit Alaska this summer.

For supper tonight, we had the toasted chicken sandwiches with caramelized onions and apples we like, but with plain whole wheat bread. The result was still good, but nothing like as good as when they are made with really delicious crusty bread.
