Quiet Day

We worked on using Gel-Gloss on our front and rear end caps. It works really well to remove oxydation and restore shine, but it definitely requires plenty of elbow grease too. Also, it's a bit of a trick reaching the upper areas of the front end cap, which is way higher than our six-foot ladder will reach. I lowered the tailgate and backed the truck up close so we could stand the ladder in the truck bed.

Ken also removed some of the ragged decals. He wants to remove all of the front decals, which are peeling off. We've seen a few all white rigs, but not many. They sure do look very plain...

Someone drove past and asked "Do you work all the time?" We did spend some time today sitting in our chairs outside, looking at Mirror Lake and reading.

I made tapioca pudding tonight. It was one of my favorites as a kid, and it turned out really good, especially with blackberries and whipped cream....
