Cleanup

I went over to the exercise class this morning. The video this time was eight minute segments of resistance training. Eight minutes doesn't sound like much, but if you're using muscles you haven't used in years, it can sure seem a lot longer.

We waited until it cooled off a bit this evening to wash the roof and clean the awning. It's been a long time since we cleaned the awning. We checked the blog and found an entry in June 2008. We think the awning is supposed to be cleaned a bit more often, even though we don't use it very often. It still has some spots and debris, so we're going to make another pass at it tomorrow.

Tonight we watched the movie Matchstick Men with Nicolas Cage. It's billed as a crime comedy, but really ended up seeming more somber to me. I love Nicholas Cage, and Alison Lohman's performance is spot on. Good movie. We made popcorn and sat back to enjoy the film.

I made a sweet potato and chickpea curry for supper tonight. It was disappointing. I'll have to do something to spice up the leftovers.
