It Was a Quiet Day in Westminster . . .

Lazy Sunday. We slept in. After breakfast, we worked with our generator and charging system again, trying something that the Magnum tech suggested. It didn't work. He thinks the problem is with our generator, but we're sure it's not, so we'll probably go around with them a while before getting things figured out.

Today is Annie's twelfth birthday. I tried to call and wish her a happy birthday, but got her voicemail. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNIE!!!

After lunch we did some shopping. Ken got a couple of pairs of shoes, including some Skechers Shape Ups, which our friends Jan and Steve enthusiastically endorsed. We also went to Best Buy and spent the better part of an hour evaluating laptops. We're looking for new laptops in the thin and lightweight category, but of course we also want great functionality.

We were also glad to find a Whole Foods Market close by, so we stocked up.

It clouded up this afternoon and looked threatening. We only got a light sprinkle, though.

Tonight we played three rounds of Rummikub--I won two.
