On to Bothell

We moved today to Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell, WA. We're spending the night in the park, and tomorrow morning we'll move our truck and our home to their storage lot whle we're on our Alaska cruise. It will be plugged in to a 20 amp outlet, sufficient to keep the fridge running. The park is pleasant, with wildlife habitat and trails surrounding the RV park and a lake in the middle of the complex. We're in a nice large pull-thru, so easy in and out. We did our laundry this afternoon. Now we're almost packed. We're hoping we haven't forgotten anything crucial.

The park has some hiking trails, so of course we went exploring.

What are those red things?

We're expecting a pickup by Puget Sound Limousines at 9:00 tomorrow morning for a trip for us and our luggage to the Roosevelt Hotel in downtown Seattle. Shawn and Chris and Annie are staying there tonight, and we'll join them so we can spend Saturday exploring Seattle. We're planning especially to go to the Seattle Art Museum, of which Shawn and Chris are members.

We had trouble with the Bigfoot auto-level process again. It announded auto-level success, but immediately switched to "Not Level." Also, our door wouldn't close. It's very sensitive to any torque in the frame. We ended up pulling the slides back in and preparing the Bigfoot to hook up (auto reconnect). Then we used auto-level again, this time with success and a working door--yay!

One of the slide wipers on the super slide was mostly folded under, but I was able to use one of our Teflon strips to "encourage" it to straighten out. We dumped and disconnected everything except the electricity so we'll be ready to move to storage early in the morning.
