Windy

It's windy this evening. We have some windows open but also have the shades pulled down, so they are rattling. The slide toppers sound like distant bowling in the sky. Altogether it's rather unsettling, but we remind ourselves that south Texas may be breezy, but we're not in Kansas anymore!

Not much doing today. We've been talking with and emailing insurance agents. Most of the responses are no joy, but we have one agent who apparently thinks she can write us a homeowner's policy with Foremost. Another agency is calling back in the morning, so we're still looking for more info.


We made more progress on our income tax forms today. Tomorrow we'll print and scan and sign and get them in the mail, so we'll be finished with that task for another year.
