Today we were on a mission to find more plants and garden furniture and tools, everything to make the townhouse yard beautiful. We went to Lowe's and Home Depot and Livingscape and Portland Nursery and Target and Livingscape again. Livingscape is a small, friendly neighborhood garden store that also sells outdoor and kitchen needs, rents snow shoes and skis, and supplies bees and chickens. Portland Nursery has extensive varieties and gardening supplies. We came home with lots more to plant. Chris and Anara diligently turned over and removed the unwanted volunteer grass in the planting strip/tree lawn to make room for some "steppable" ground covers.
This evening we watched Michael Moore's Sicko, which is enough to make anybody sick and left us wondering why the United States is the only advanced country that does not have universal health care. It just seems such a basic human right.
Afterward we watched Season Three Episode Two of the Game of Thrones before heading up to bed.
