Moving days always involve some stress, but today was more difficult than most. We haven't moved for a while, so we're not really in practice. The space we were assigned turned out to be too difficult to get into. The road isn't very wide, and the narrow gravel drive was flanked by wooden rails. After an hour of trying, we gave up and asked for a different site. The new site was much easier to get into, and we like it a lot. We won't move again until the end of the month. We're hoping to get some of our chores done and just take some down time. Square dancing is winding down, and people are heading north.
I talked with Aunt Iris this evening. She's been very busy with church and choir for the Easter season. Unfortunately her back and hip and leg are causing her a lot of pain, which apparently is due to a spinal issue. She has an appointment with a neurosurgeon in a couple of weeks and expects she'll probably have surgery. Meanwhile she and Beth are driving to North Carolina this week to see everyone. Sadly, Aunt Janice has been diagnosed with leukemia and has decided not to have radiation or chemo.
I've been having a lot of trouble with my computer recently. Windows regularly crashes when it's put to sleep, and it seems to have great difficulty establishing a network connection. My mouse wheel settings keep getting changed. All in all, it's a very frustrating situation. I went back to an earlier restore point and that doesn't seem to have helped.
