Labor Day

This morning Chris took us out for brunch to Chez Machin French Bistro & Crêperie. The restaurant gets rave reviews on Yelp, and deservedly so. We all shared a nice cheese plate. Chris had French Onion Soup, and Anara had a sweet crepe with strawberries. We had a delightful savory crepe: La  Fermière: Mozzarella, mushrooms, tomato, avocado, spinach, scallions & pesto crème fraiche.



On our walk later we stopped by Kruger's Farm Stand on Hawthorne St. and picked up some produce. That's the farm on Sauvie Island where we went to a concert earlier.
