First Day of School! and Packing Up for Hawaii!

Today was Anara's first day of eleventh grade. Her school has an unusual schedule, so she had only four of her classes today. She'll have the other four tomorrow. It sounds like she's off to a good start and likes her teachers, especially her history teacher. That might have something to do with his policy of no homework....

We washed clothes and headed out to our rig (at J & S RV Services) to pack up for our trip. We're leaving for Kauai tomorrow. When we talked to Jeff this afternoon, our brake parts had not yet arrived, but they did come in before we left. Jeff assures us that all the work will be done when we return from our trip. Fingers crossed.

Tonight we had blackberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream--again! and it was delicious. Full payback for all the little thorn pricks encountered while picking the berries....
