Doctor Visit

This afternoon both of us had appointments with a new internist, Dr. George. We're hoping to develop an ongoing relationship, since we are here in the Valley for four months, more than we are anywhere else. We were generally impressed. He listened, which is not something that every doctor does very well.

Afterward we went to Bicycle World to pick up our bikes, which we dropped of Tuesday afternoon to be tuned. We were told they'd be ready yesterday, but as it turned out, they had gotten busy and had only Ken's bike ready, so we'll have to go back tomorrow for mine. Ken's looks like a new bike compared to what it looked like a couple of days ago, and he says the brakes and gears work better too.

Tonight I danced with Jean at Darryl's. I said goodbye to Harlan and Jean, who are leaving tomorrow. Harlan said they would probably be at Romney's June Fling in Missouri.
