We left Vermont and entered New Hampshire today--another new state. The terrain changed as we drove into the White Mountains and saw more evergreen trees again. We're staying at Country Bumpkins Campground in Lincoln, NH, just south of Franconia Notch State Park. The campground is okay, but the sites are generally small and there's no privacy. We're here mainly to visit the Flume Gorge, which one of our friends from Southern California, Sheila Day, recommended to us.

We got a nasty surprise today--an email message from Millenicom, our Verizon broadband supplier, saying that we owe $103 for roaming charges, probably incurred when we were close to the Canadian border and connected unawares to a Canadian cell tower. Ouch!
