Sofa Sleeper Blues

Today we went shopping for a sleeper sofa mattress. That’s how we found out that very few places carry them, the selection is limited, and most would have to be ordered and arrive in a week or two. So we ended up buying a memory foam mattress topper, which we are hoping will make the bed more comfortable for our guests.

This evening Steve and Jan picked us up to go to Joe’s dance. I told Joe that I was disappointed because he didn't have his iPad set up with photos of his granddaughter, and of course I had been hoping she might be at the dance. We were surprised to see Tanya arrive pushing a baby stroller. It turned out that Joe had called Tanya to bring the baby over. We all got a chance to ooh and aah over her. She is definitely a little doll.

We enjoyed the dance. We danced with a young couple from Asheville named Bob and Jan. She works for the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, so they have passes to the Biltmore House and go often. We talked about the Downton Abbey exhibit, which I would love to see.
