Holidays in July

The resort we are staying at is celebrating holidays in July this week. Today was the Christmas celebration. We dug out our Christmas decorations and found a couple of ribbons and such to wear and joined the Christmas carolers this evening. We hopped aboard a wagon to ride around the campground. Fortunately, there were words for the songs, and even more fortunately, there were recorded songs for us to sing along with.

Afterward we went to the clubhouse to play Christmas bingo. The bingo game was just for fun. The biggest prize was a pack of three toy race cars. We got close to bingo a couple of times, but never won. No matter--we had lots of laughs.

This morning we started the laundry before setting out on our walk. After walking we returned and moved the clothes to the dryers. Then I went to exercise while Ken watched the dryers. The exercise video we used this morning was a rather advanced Pilates class. It reminded me how much I enjoyed the Pilates classes at Pomona. Maybe I'll look for a more appropriate beginner video.
