Last Dance

This afternoon we attended our final dance of the season, a C-1 dance with Darryl calling. It was a good way to finish, and we enjoyed dancing with our friends. Unfortunately, Judy had a sore throat, so she and Hardy didn't make it. We'll keep in touch over the summer via Facebook. We said our goodbyes and shared final hugs with many winter friends we hope to see next year when we return. We said goodbye and see you this summer to Jan and Steve. They workcamp in the Badlands National Park, where we will be visiting in August, so we hope to see them then.

Today is Nanci's birthday, so we gave her a call to wish her a happy one. She was having fun teaching Regan to do the laundry. Six-year-olds just absorb everything like sponges.

Tomorrow we'll finish packing up and start to head north.

Getting ready to leave must kick in my housekeeping instincts--I vacuumed and scrubbed and straightened and tucked things away for the trip.
