Today is Jeff's 38th birthday. Geni keeps track and lets us know just how old our kids are getting (Gee, that means we're putting on the years too....).
We danced this afternoon at Randy's C-1 workshop for the final time this season. Things are winding down. We'll be leaving a week from today. We'll have three more dances, and I'm already missing all our friends and the great dancing. Something to look forward to next season...
Tonight we did our laundry. It's the first time we washed our new sheets. Guess what? 600 count cotton sheets are heavy! The sheets and pillowcases filled one washer. They're great sheets, but what was I thinking?
Tonight Ken won three more rounds of Rummikub. I'm pretty much resigned to his just whupping me at this game, but I'm masochistic enough to keep coming back for more.
Jesse was in for his 6 week checkup and immunizations today. Julie says he has healthy lungs--he objected loudly to getting three shots (can't say I blame him).
The kids' dad was in for angioplasty and stent placement today, but the docs decided he really needs bypass surgery. That will probably be scheduled for next week. Terri and Molly are flying in this Saturday, so they'll be in Texas for the surgery.
