Ken's first mission this morning was to call the dentist. One of his crowns fell out yesterday. Fortunately Dr. Canales was able to see him this morning, and he was home in no time. The crown just needed to be re-cemented. Meanwhile I did some laundry.
This afternoon we went to Darryl's C-2 dance. Jean was there and actually danced two tips. She said afterwards that her ankle felt fine. We are so pleased that she is making such great progress.
Steve had his ESI (epidural steroid injection) this morning and found out that it is one of a series of three at two-week intervals. He definitely seemed to be doing better today, although he says he is still in pain. He walked over to the hall for the Friday night movie without his cane. He's hoping to be able to dance Monday, and we're cheering him on.
The movie tonight was Rumor Has It. Despite a great cast, both critics and most viewers panned it, though some people enjoyed it, including Roger Ebert. I gave it a pass (just not my cup of tea). Ken went over, but came home before the end of the movie. The rest of the group stayed and said they had some laughs.
