We started the morning at Rosie's having breakfast with our friends. It showered and drizzled all night and was foggy and misty when we woke up. The weather didn't improve (chilly, damp, overcast, drizzly, you get the picture), so we went to Home Depot to do our walking. Not nearly as inspiring as the state park, but warmer.
We've been checking out the gas grills, but we haven't made up our minds to actually buy one. We have a Weber tabletop that works pretty well for us. One thing we did go ahead and buy was an inexpensive "digging shovel." We need to fill in some holes in the yard, and we've run into some other tasks that a shovel would be good for.
We made split pea soup for dinner. Somehow this just seemed like a soup day, and we had a bit of leftover ham from the Christmas dinner at Hardy and Judy's.
We spent some time checking out possible times to visit France this year and looking at flights. They are not cheap, and none of the airlines gets really good reviews on sites like TripAdvisor. We are thinking of traveling in June at this point, but we don't even know for sure where we should fly from.
