We don't square dance on Tuesdays, but tonight we did some non-square dancing to Jackson Haney. He's a singer and guitarist, plus for his show he uses what seems to be karaoke accompaniment. His forte is the music of the 50's and 60's. He played with the original Comets.
Tonight he performed a few slow numbers, which we are brave enough to get on the floor for (especially if there are lots of other dancers). Lots of the numbers were rock and roll or two-step. We enjoyed watching other dancers dancing these. Some of our friends are really accomplished dancers.
The weather was perfect for hitting the hot tub, so that's what we did. Then we lounged by the pool reading. Tough life!
We did four loads of laundry. It seems that the laundry multiplies in the hamper! Some of the excess no doubt comes from our changing clothes more often, especially after exercising in the sun.
