Under the Weather

Neither one of us is feeling up to snuff today. We mainly hung around the house and rested. Bob and Pat dropped by. They biked from the Hike and Bike parking lot on Conway, five miles. It was nice to see them, but we weren't great hosts today.


We watched Terminal with Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones tonight. We thought it was a rather thin comedy, but we both like the actors.

The sugar cane fields near us are being harvested. It was still a bit smoky here today, and this afternoon the wind shifted and brought black, flaky ashes to settle on everything here, including our patio and patio chairs. Yuck.
