Sunshine and Dancing

Today was still colder than we like, but at least the sky was blue and the sun was shining. We walked outside, which definitely beats treadmills.

Our usual Wednesday dances, Jerry Story in the afternoon and Joe Saltel in the evening, were both enjoyable as usual. Both had eight squares. We got more tangelos from Jan and Steve. They're working hard to strip the tree, and we appreciate the bounty.


President Obama addressed the nation today proposing some regulation of guns in the wake of the Newtown school shootings that stirred the conscience of the nation. I'm afraid that even minimal regulation like extending and strengthening background checks, faces an uphill battle in congress. Too bad.
