Long Day

We had too much fun today. First we went to a potluck for our Escapees group. Somehow the time seems to get away from me, and I ended up fixing the Oh Yeah Baby Glazed Carrots at the last minute and throwing the salad stuff in the cooler. We had a good turnout--around 30 people--and some really good food. One guy fixed a P.F. Chang recipe of spicy chicken lettuce wraps that were delicious.

We stayed around after the meal and visited. We watched a water volleyball game and lounged around in the hot tub for a while, convincing ourselves that it really was warm in the sun.

This evening we went to Joe's C-1 workshop. As usual we had fun and learned a lot. One thing he called (from parallel waves) had the men doing an O circulate while the women did a butterfly circulate, ending up in blocks. Well, it was supposed to end up in blocks, but the first time he called this move, most of the squares ended up in muddle in the middles.
We got our laundry done this afternoon, so tomorrow morning we can sleep in.
